Keeping the Christian community informed about our programs and activities.

Current Programming

We currently have programs for 4th & 5th grade students available in four Richmond County elementary schools:

  • Glenn Hills Elementary School: students are transported to Glenn Hills Baptist Church
  • Hephzibah Elementary School: students are escorted across the parking lot to Hephzibah United Methodist Church
  • Monte Sano Elementary School: students are escorted next door to Asbury United Methodist Church
  • Copeland Elementary School: students are escorted across the road to Pierce Memorial United Methodist Church
  • Terrace Manor Elementary School: Students are bussed to Glenn Hills Baptist Church.

We seek to add at least one new program each year to Richmond County elementary schools and expand into other Counties when possible.

Volunteers Needed!

Be a missionary for Christ in your own backyard!

The Released Time Christian Education Program is seeking volunteers for the 2010-2011 school year to work in the classrooms, helping students learn the Bible.

Volunteer positions vary from teachers, teaching assistants, and teaching aides to escorting students, hearing Scripture memory verses.  Some may help with classroom setup, while others may work on Ad Hoc Committees, be a church contact or help with prayer support.

You can help out with just one class a week (1 hour) or more depending upon your schedule. Training, manuals, and materials will be provided.  If you have a desire to help a young student learn the Bible please contact us at 706-228-5885.
